Meanwhile, Real has faced City, last year’s champion squad, in the knockout stages for the third consecutive year. April 9–10 and April 16–17 are the dates for the first two legs, respectively.
Arsenal and City Win Square Off in Semi Finals
If Arsenal and City win their respective ties, the two Premier League teams will square off in the semifinals. The other matchups include fourth-place finishers Atletico Madrid taking on German rivals Borussia Dortmund, and five-time champion Barcelona playing French champs Paris St-Germain.One week after the first legs of the semifinals on April 30 and May 1, the second legs will take place on May 7-8. Wembley Stadium will host this year’s final tournament on Saturday, June 1.

The Gunners fell short of Bayern 10–2 on aggregate after losing both legs of their last-16 matchup in the 2016–17 rivalry. They had won the home match 2-0, although the previous season they had lost 5-1 in the competition’s group stage.
