The Film Starts with the Hunt of New Movie Star in Roy Studios led by Srikant Roy (Prosenjit Chatterjee) and his Wife Sumitra Kumari (Aditi Rao Hydari).After a lot of Auditions the Roy Studios Finalizes Jamshed Khan (Nandish Singh Sandhu) as their New movie Star.
The story starts with Jamshed Khan and Sumitra Kumari love story, followed by Jamsheds Tragic Death in Riots of Indo Pak Partition. The rise of New Star Madan Kumar (Aparikshit Khurana) and revival of Roy Studios.
Two refuges Jay Khanna (Siddhant Gupta ) and Niloufer (Wamiqa Gabbi). Their struggles , the love story and their rise to stardom from scratch.
