Update on Karl-Anthony Towns’ injuries

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium on The Pat McAfee Show, there’s a chance Karl-Anthony Towns will recover from his torn meniscus before the regular season ends.

Karl-Anthony Towns is “ahead of schedule” in his recuperation, according to Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor, who spoke with Darren Wolfson of KSTP. However, a firm date for his comeback is yet unknown.
When Towns’ operation was first revealed by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, many predicted that he wouldn’t return until the early rounds of the Western Conference playoffs.

With four weeks to go until his surgery, the 28-year-old is slated for a reevaluation on April 9. Minnesota still has four games left on their schedule. Towns’ window of opportunity to make a comeback before the postseason appears to be closing up with the team’s regular-season finale against Phoenix on April 14.
However, his recuperation appears to be going well, which is encouraging for Minnesota’s postseason aspirations.
